When I want younger my life was ruled by what I had to do to raise my girls and all the stress that went with that. Sometimes I feel like I am living my life backwards....I have soooo much more freedom now

I dont know UB but it seems like my life just gets better and better. I can make choices now that I never could when I was younger...
Well, I am on my way to age 63 and I wouldn't want to be young again. As that old, trite saying goes....Been there, done that. I am loving life. I feel FREE!!!
RED100s: pittying the young is probably due to the fact that you have become to the age where you now feel like master yoda, of all the wise actions, behaviors and thoughts that you have grown to adapt to as an older person. I kinda pity those who cant release tht old block and just act young agsin. I pitty the fool haha
Pity the young? No, not at all.
Feel like Master Yoda? The more I think I know, the more I realize how much I don't know. One never stops experiencing and learning.
Act young again? But over-40 is not "old".
And we all have so much to learn from older and wiser. They've "been there, done that" and have seen and experienced so much.
Don't be afraid of the years RED...it is great ride. Open your mind and enjoy the ride!

Yeah, I can understand where you are coming from Venus. I couldn't be a parent myself as its way too much work. I remember taking care of my nephew for a week and telling my sister in law that parents deserve medals. For me to be younger; I could go back in the military and sail again. I miss traveling and having such an exciting job. Sitting behind a desk isn't much fun for me and although I enjoy playing with the military band; its not as exciting as sailing on a combat ship.

Leaving Mexico about broke my heart so I had to re-think. I realized to be happy I needed to have a career that incorporates the things I love in life. So I enrolled in college to study for my travel agents licence. You should think about it sista...You can specialize in cruising and some agents travel on the ships. Its great money and an awesome way to see the world.

Do your research of course. I spent a lot of time looking at various colleges and settled on CDI they have a great profile in the industry and top students are hired right out of the classroom ...Good luck!

Thanks. I actually went to CDI myself for my Admin course and ironically; they are just down the hill from my workplace.
