I like Red Bull. I've stopped drinking it now because I found it very addictive. I was drinking one a day before work. They did get me going, but the rush wore off quickly. I don't drink it anymore and after a while I seemed to have Red Bull withdrawal.
I have tried some of the store bought energy drinks. I do not like them as well as I do a home made one. I have a recipe for a smoothie it is full of vitamins, fresh fruit, frozen yogurt. Very tasty but does not give you the kick in the bum that the store bought ones do. I think the store bought ones are not healthy for you. Even my home made one is fattening so one has to think of that before drinking it. I don't like caffiene could be why I feel this way about the store bought. How do you feel about them?
OMG no way..... tried them all ... they get you totally hyped and your runing around with your head cut off.. and heart pumping like crazy and then you crash badly.............
no good , bad for you ... don't do it...

Widespread use of these products is indicative of addictive personality and a reason the FDA and HCA want to regulate nutritional supplements as drugs... HCA has already restricted/ banned many and the FDA is not far behind.
Sadly, abusive combinations of crap food, additives, drinks, and diet aids will likely remain while our access to individual supplements I know are most useful are further limited.
Currently the problem with the FDA’s draft guidance on New Dietary Ingredients is that it allows FDA to arbitrarily deny the sale of any supplement created (or modified) in the past seventeen years. If you’re a supplement manufacturer or distributor or possibly even a health food store, and you don’t file a NDI “notification” (actually a request for approval) for each ingredient in each product developed since 1994 in just the way prescribed by the FDA, and the court later decides the FDA is right, then you are guilty of product “adulteration,” which is punishable by prison. With your favorite supplements off the market, it also would allow the drug industry to adapt and patent them, and sell them back to you—by doctor’s prescription only—for 10 or 100 (or even more) times what you’re paying now.

Too much sugar in them. I may be have few times a year sugar free ones, just when energy is really low. Not good idea to get used to them though. I already have coffee addiction even if I normally have just a cup per day. But it is sooo hard to quit! Cold turkey big time!
After a saturday night spending in the club in stockholm i used to drink RED BULL before going to my restuarant job on sunday,its helps me to work properly
I like Five Hour energy drink and if I really need a boost, Red Line (not Red Bull) is good. It's hard at my age to get through several 12 hour shifts of walking around most of the time without some help.
I just don't care for them, If others want to drink them then it is no problem here,,,,as long as they don't fly into the back of my truck with a skateboard or snowboard....lol ;-}

There not good for you. If I remember rightly it's the combination of caffeine and Tanin. I remember seeing a documentary a few years a go on T.V where American kids were dropping dead from Heart Attacks.
Stay well clear, and don't give energy drinks to any minor.
Carbonised drinks weaken Bone density as well. Then there's milk, Drink that you loose calcium, not absorb it from your system!
Then there's water (with Fluoride in) which is proven to Lower I.Q.
I don't know if cats piss is good for you though. Someone try it and let us all know.
