caperock: You are browsing through C'S and want to connect with someone, but you notice they are suffering a terminal disease, not HIV, you..... go ahead and make contact, they might just write you into their will, you stay away, the emotional turmoil of saying goodbye to someone you know is just too much,
Of course i would...i have Lupus and understand that there is more to a person than their illness...they/we are people just like everyone else and deserve the chance to love and be loved as well

I once met someone from this dating site (in person he came to Honduras), he was very attractive and I was willing to try but he was a heavy smoker and a few months after he found out he had lung cancer, once he started his treatments it was hard to communicate, we lost contact, I hope he is ok and if he passed away I hope he is with God and resting in peace
I would befriend someone who is terminally ill but I wouldn't date them. I'm not a glutton for punishment which is the category I'd fall into if I made a conscious decision to be a young widower. This is not a perfect world as was portrayed in Nicholas Sparks movie and book, 'A Walk To Remember', which is about this very subject matter.

I was having ongoing tests for 6 months to see if I had cancer...and he stuck to me like glue...texting at important times....how can I doubt him.....Niah
