I would believe corn to be the most used vegetable in the world as it is not only used for human consumption, but as feed for cattle and other animals and corn is used in making Bio-fuels.

I adore veg, have no understanding how some people dislike eating it....
For myself I'd include the Parsnip, roasted until slightly softened, ahhhhh sooooooooooooo sweet

I think you and HL are looking in the right direction. I do not eat alot of potatoes or corn. I like veggies 
But I prefer lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, greens (turnip, mustard, collards) cabbage, spinach .... I guess you can tell I am a real foodie....I love to eat

I am not a lover of veggies ..... I know it good for ones health ... So I wish I eat them in a tablet form like vitamins ......
