My personal views about astrology: A subject which grew from the ancient age and many people enriched and followed it… then there must be some mystery. May be observation so also sampling took a major part but still when it is fully concerns with planetary movements and effect on human lives… then at least sun signs or moon signs are mostly describe the personality of a human…. and that is mostly not wrong. May be astrology sometimes predicts wrong future but science also sometimes commit mistake. Isn’t it? So, irrespective consideration of legitimate science… astrology is what, that it is!
Thanks to every one who already took part at my poll and advance thanks to them who will come in future. Hope you enjoyed this. Thanks.
Carl96190: As a student of the occult I can say that any rational exploration of the facts will show that astrology is an absurd pseudoscience.
Given what the origins were and the purpose in the time of ancient Sumeria and Egypt, it devolved soon after both civilizations. Whatever remained of the 'old science' was totally obliterated by the Babylonians under Marduk. The Chaldeans were the only ones that kept most of the origins intact. Today nothing has survived of ancient Astrology, it's all scam and fakery for the masses. They deserve nothing less.
WhistlingDixie: I buy a news paper every day to read my Horrorscope . Its all pretty well accurate.
Its just the bloody T.V. Channel guide that tells lies , there always changing the programmes round
No kiddin'. Cable here does that too. The on-screen menu is constantly saying such and such movie or syndicated program is on at that time/channel, and it's something altogether different. Kind of annoying.
I'll tell ya what is. Numeralogy. I did't think so untill I read a book called Glynis has your number. If you know someone's name and birthday it is wild what you can learn about them. You can peg someone to a tee almost. And NOOOO I'm not promoting her book. I'm just saying if you don't believe it I challenge you to go get it and just give it a try. I guess you could probably get it free at the local libary.

In the mid-1970's Biorhythms were the "new" astrology. Then came a flood of "Personality Tests" which pegged you as one type or another. And even in Astrology there are various "Sun" signs, and "Moon" signs, and planetary placements at the time of your birth, even some at the time of your conception, if one can find that so exacting. It's all mind boggling.
Most astrology, no. Birth charts are where it's at. A lot more information about the planets is taken into consideration for that rather than the "give me your sign, here's your horoscope for the day" shenanigans.
