They say that France is the most visited country in the world, so I`m sure I`ll meet people from different places.

I recommned Paris no dubt being winter. Even in summer i'd lean to paris. Been both places and yes the beach in nice is not nice..lol anyway. Spent 4 days in Paris and it was a real pleasure. And YES you'll meet international folks there. Arcitecture is wonderful, historic and cultural feel. Nice just has a fancy name in my view.

I think as long as you avoid mechilin 3 star restaurants you should be able to keep it budget also in paris. Just find reasonable accommodation u know, cos hotel is the main monay drainer.

i guess it's the tourist prices you have heard of, even parisiennes know how to squeeze $ out of tourists. After a few weeks you'll know all about Rene's cafe at the corner with the cheap breakfast and Ali's supermarcado + DOMUS Shop til you drop 100.000 square feet Giant Market with the extra large shopping carts.

Summervanilla: I`m torn between to places to visit: Paris or Nice in France. On one hand Paris seems to be an obvious choice, but it is so expensive and hectic! On the other hand, Nice offers some beautiful views, mild climate and close location to popular attractions. Need your help, guys!!!
