WhatUwish4: This is interesting... Gallop has had to change it's polling methodology because the Obama Administration threatened to sue them if they didn't. First Chik-Fil-A, now Gallop. You folks really want four more years of this?
That's a shame that Gallup caved in to government demands. To me, this is a first amendment issue - the right to poll people in your own words without government interference. I think Gallup would have won if they had been sued. People and companies need to stand up for what they believe in, regardless of the consequences. Caving in to special interests diminishes the message.
intomiltech: The hard left lib CNN Poll; RYAN WINS!
You keep repeating yourself. You're using a familiar brain washing technique of constant repetition. You right wingers are pretty good at that, I'm pretty good at shining a light on you.
Who won the VP debate? Why the polls were so different?
Shortly after last night's spirited vice presidential debate, CBS News and CNN released instant poll results providing some insight into who voters thought won the evening's showdown Both polls were conducted shortly after the end of the debate, but they told two very different stories.
According to the CBS poll, Biden delivered a decisive victory, with 50 percent of respondents electing him as the winner and 31 choosing Ryan. Remember those numbers 50 to 31 Biden (by 19 points)Biden on Obama's relationship with Israel: "It's a bunch of stuff".CNN's poll, however, showed a much closer contest -- with Ryan leading by four points, at 48 percent to Biden's 44 percent. Remember those numbers 48 to 44 Ryan (by 4 points) So what accounts for the difference?
"The CNN and CBS News post-debate polls were conducted among two different samples of voters so different results are not that surprising," said Jen De Pinto, manager of surveys for CBS News' polling unit. "The CBS News Poll interviewed uncommitted voters who watched the debate -voters who are undecided in this election or pick a candidate but say they could change their minds."
Uncommitted voters represent about 15 to 20 percent of the electorate and are potentially up for grabs, according to De Pinto, as most do not align themselves with a political party. In fact, more than half identify as independents.
The CNN survey, meanwhile, conducted interviews with a sample of 381 registered voters nationwide who watched the debate, not just those who are undecided or could change their minds. That sample represents a broader portrait of the electorate and includes many voters who have already decided on a candidate
B is getting pounded by Fox News, Hannity, Greta, O'Riely, and a host of others for being rude and laughing at everything. Nuclear war is not something to laugh at, only a fool does that and Biden was the fool that was laughing.
As for your sighting the only the lib polls well that what the libs do make stuff up to suit them.
O and B have no record to run so cut down the opponent is all they have and it's wearing thin real fast as the polls show Romney up all across the country.
ooby_dooby: Biden took Ryan apart. Even on the subjects Ryan is supposed to be well versed in, taxes and economics. Biden made Paul Ryan look like a schoolboy. Ryans idea of replacing Social Security with a voucher system, is like licking the third rail in this country. George Bush wasted 6 months of his second term trying and FAILED. If a consummate politician and president with a vast network of donors and supporters couldn't do it, what gives this wet behind the ears Congressman the audacity to think he can? Joe Biden last night was the face of 99 percent of ordinary Americans and his laughter was the laughter of all of us. We are the current "Silent Majority" only we're not that silent. Paul Ryan looked like an empty suit.
And Biden belonged in an empty suit.
Might want to watch a little (dare I say it) PMSNBC. Even their fact checkers said Biden told some "fibs". I couldn't believe PMSNBC would allow them on tv.
When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened.'
Biden: "We went ahead and made sure that we cut taxes for the middle class"
Not true. Not even close to true.
At least seven of the taxes in Obamacare will fall directly on the middle class. There's the tax for not having health care insurance that could cost families as much as $2,000 a year once Obamacare is implemented. Obama care caps the amount of money people can set aside pre-tax in flexible spending accounts, and limits the usage of that money. It also limits the deduction that families with catastrophic health care costs can deduct from taxes. I could go on, but you get the point.
