After mailing, etc. on a single's or other kind of online site, you & a woman decide to meet each other in real life. You feel you are interested in the woman because of written communication & talking on the phone, but until you actually meet face to face & spend some real life time together, you don't know if she's a match or not. Which of the above choices is the best way to quickly determine if you're really interested in this woman & want to continue contact?

Do something that you know she will enjoy. But to where you can talk to her and get to know her for her. Go for a walk and sit down in the grass by the river and chat or something simple. You don't need an expensive date to get to know each other. A lot of people like to go to the movies. Which you can't even talk and if you do it's annoying. Same with most other places. Tbh coffee is lame and most older people enjoy doing that. But most younger people would rather do other types of things. Just gotta find their interest.
Has anyone had this problem? When I click on reply or quote under a person's post, I'm taken to outside of this site. I've tried signing out, then back in & the same happens.
@chris....Feeling comfortable with the person first time you meet is very important. Having coffee together and then suggest a restaurant.
Yes, it is very important to feel comfortable with a person you have just met. Meeting in a public place, such as a small coffee shop is an ideal place to meet for the first time so you can converse & then decide if you want to extend the meeting into a date involving other activities.
If you or both decide you're not interested enough to extend the meeting, then there is no big loss of time & money invested in a first meeting.

I listed as an option, meeting for coffee & conversing, because coffee shops are a public place & usually not crowded or noisy. Most restaurants are crowded & waiters/waitresses are interrupting constantly, so difficult to carry on a conversation. I prefer, like you mentioned, to go for a walk so you can converse privately, but are still in public.

Around here, thanks to a horrid economy, crowded restaurants (other than at the casino or the places the bus from the charter group stops at) are rare. Us old folks like coffee (or soda, or tea) because it is quiet time, you can sip the coffee while answering the 33 questions game, you can watch and memorize them without being distracted, they can evaluate you and how you dressed for the first encounter (are you clean, or smelly, nice trendy, smart, clothes or boring conventional?, etc.). Yes, sometimes the restaurant is crowded, or closed. Why not window shop at the mall? Stroll through a museum, walk in the park?
Yes, I know, let's go dancing. Problem is I don't want to have fun with someone I may not like once I get to know them, so I want to talk to them first. Let me decide I like them first, then the doors to good times I will unlock.
First I verify if she is real Pinch her a bit to differentiate flesh from steel
Then if she is okay I will lower my shield And start a conversation in preparation to kneel
Next it will be time for a luncheon meal Preferably one at Macdonald until we sign a deal
A quick trip to Holiday Inn Express to fiddle and feel To record her moaning and her squeal
Hopefully I won't need to file an appeal To get out of a drama that has becum a nightmare ordeal
Potarick
