sofarsogood74: Seems a good time to me. People need to travel from Clare and Cork for a second time. Saturday 5pm means they don't have to leave home as early and they don't have to take Monday off work if they are staying in Dublin for the night. I think all Finals should be on a Saturday night.

A lot of children goes to these matches too, by the time its over its nearly eight. Well i always watched the all Ireland of a sunday no matter what county was playing. It will be a bit strange watching it off a sat. Well i think i stay at home and watch it on television.

8? How will a 5 O clock throw in on a 70 min game end at 8? It will end about 6.30 including trophy presentation. What kids go to bed before 6.30 on a Saturday?

And most people do watch it on TV so the time doesn't effect them. The GAA has to think about fans travelling to the game and a Saturday evening throw in would suit the majority of them better IMO.

antoanthony: The ref should not add the extra 30 sec

the ref should have sent of cork player in first half. he must have a guilty at the end of the game, he gave clare time to score the point to even the match dancing dancing

scriobhneoir: Not a hope that it will be played on the Saturday. It will be the Sunday again. They will probably just bring the Ladies football back a week again.

Saturday at 5 pm 28th of Sept.
