imagine you have a certain amount of money and that you want to spend it on shirts..you have a choice..you can either buy two regular shirts with the money or, alternatively, you can buy just one shirt of better quality ..which do you go for - one shirt or two?

I am yes, although, I have many clothes, but because they are quality, they last for years and years.
So I never spend that much money on clothes, because I do not need to, or shoes, I have plenty and therefore, I never need to spend money on things like that.

phoenix: Buy two regular shirts, should get them fairly cheap in the sales and knit a cardigan..
funny you should suggest that, Phoenix ... my next knitting project will hopefully be a cardigan ... wow ... playing with the big kids now ... an additional ambition for the year is to attend the Maltese senior knitting club one evening .. it's held every wednesday 7pm 'til 9pm .. free entry .. bring your own yarn and needles .. coffee only 50 cents ...
if only i had known where my desire to knit some socks would lead me ... but apparently you need to know how to knit everything else before you can knit socks ... who'd have thought it?
still, when the cardigan is finished we can have a new poll...'who has the best cardigan?'. no paint shop pics of fruit and veg will steal the victory next time, mr bond..
