Answering your question, I dated a man about 10 years my junior, right before I joined CS. Didn't see any problem with it at the time, but I ended it because ... ... not because of the age difference.

I, likewise, never saw nor do I see myself as a Couger. I take each person on their own attributes. It did take me a little while to get used to the fact that most of the guys that contacted me were all much younger. . . I never expected that.
Cultureal conditioning that it was Taboo as well as one very failed early expierience when I was 28 and the guy was 21 but very, very immature had me backing up.
But once I was convinced by the Young Gentleman to give it a chance, I found that his age and maturity were much closer to my own than I thought.
So, now I look at age as just a number that can be negligible in the equation where aour relationship is concerned. It is more important the maturtity he has for his age and the total commitment to our relationship and the work involved in making it suceed.

It CAN last. My Best Friend from Grade school all the way up, he Mother was ~15 to 20 yrs older than her Dad. They had one of the Strongest Marriages besides my own Parents,(Dad was 17.5 yrs older than Mom), I had ever seen. They even had 5 to 8 children together.
It depends on the maturity and the Commitment of the people involved!

His Loss. . . I only started "dating" about a year and half ago and the youngest man I went out with was 5 years younger than me. The oldest was only 3 years older but my son told me looked 20 years older than me! But he didn't look like that to me at all. Must have been the silvery gray hair!
