Qld definetly have some great talent with Johnathon Thurston, Billy Slater , Cameron Smith , Darren Lockyer mmmmmm, what a combination!! I think Sam Thiaday and Carmichael Hunt are way overrated but the selectors seem to think otherwise. I actually haven't seen the whole line up yet. We will see tonight. My guess at score will be Qld 10 - NSW 6, hopefully a close one with lots of swearing at the television keeping me on the edge of my seat. Love it!!

Yep, a lot of New South Welshpeople are like that. They're going to put 13 of them out on the field tonight in Bue Jerseys to face 13 in Maroon who can stand football.

A man had great tickets for the State of Origin Final.
As he sits down, another man comes down and asks if anyone is
sitting in the seat next to him. "No", he says. "The seat is
empty".

This is incredible!" said the man. "Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the State of Origin, the biggest sporting event in Australia, and not use it?"

He says, "Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. My wife was
supposed to come with me, but she passed away. This is the first State of Origin we haven't been to together since we got married."

"Oh ... I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible. But couldn't you find someone else, a friend or relative, or even a neighbour to take the seat?"

The man shakes his head. "No. They're all at the funeral."

Now we do have to say that would have been a NSW supporter. A true Queenslander wouldn't let a little thing like death stop her supporting her state.

well i better go and feed the ferals and get the drinks & munchies organised before the game starts, even got maroon wine!!

Ye, NSW did well in second half, something to think about. Had they played that style footy in first halfe it would have been them...
Bad luck, Maroons still the BEST, Thurston did everything possible and Slater was a miracle.
Second game, I doubt Blue will make it... but we'll see.
