While I see your point, you could never regulate it & as it is the people who voted them to make decisions on our behalf, we can then selct someone different next time around. You must also consider those that were against the majority on certain decisions as I think a lot are given by silent ballot, though correct me if I am wrong.
But yes, too many of those higher up get everything they signed up for from a sinking company, but it is the workforce who always seem to lose out & suffer the most...

This idea makes too much sense
It'll never happen.Hell, you can go to jail just for threatening the president, even if you don't mean it, so even thinking about 'death penalty' for their posts is ( in their eyes ) ludicrous.

The trouble with the death penalty for politicians is that it would be administered by politicians.
So they would end up executing the few good guys among them and let the crooks off scot free. Just like now.
The political system cannot reform itself.
It takes an occasional revolution to bring about any genuine reform. And even then, most revolutions are corrupt.

Agree 100%, but the HR brigade would ensure that no true harm came to them...
Not trying to alter OP's thread but is related in that my step-dad would like to see if evil prisoners are let out by parole board & if they then repeat same/similar act of original conviction, the people on parole board receive same sentence as offender!! Can see his point & he was a prison officer.
There is now a lack of common sense & imo, way too many doo-gooders!!

The new Laws should be stated like so;
Any political agent of our government found guilt of any crime which costs the life of others shall be executed for crimes against the people, furthermore an investigation for any crime where someone has died is mandatory upon suspicion for all politicians.
Any political agent of our government found guilt of not protecting the Constitution of the United States shall be completely investigated and all assets repossessed and used to fund our welfare systems like medical.
If we can't make this happen, we should be wondering who is controlling our government.
At first I thought these kinds of posts didn't belong here,
but the truth is political views are very much a part of ones relationships.

I have for years believed that the only way to curb the abuses and the breaking of any and all laws by all politicians is to exact such horrendous penalties from them as to purge the entire political systems, all of them, around the world, would also include their families. Penalties for any abuses would be on a sliding scale, from being sent into exile outside their country, with their families, barred from any and all political activities, prison and death sentences as enemies of the people as it is the people...their people whom they are supposed to represent, that they violate and ultimately make suffer in their quests for power and riches and avoidance of prosecutions be it for themselves, their relatives or friends. If politicians can violate the trust and responsibilities they have sworn to their people, then their people should have the final right to violate them and their families....let that weigh upon anyone who elects to represent others as a politician. Such consequences just may help keep them honest.

Our politicians take kickbacks from corporations, they enacted the Federal Reserve bill transfering the riches of the American people to private bankers, and keep it going.
They make marijuana illegal, and put people in prison for it, then they manufacter pharmacueticals that are full of dangerous side effects.
They put us in wars, and take kickbacks on expensive military equipment that doesn't work.
Any elected official who bought a $500 dollar hammer, or toilet seat for our war effort, should be shot for treason!
