Looks first, because if you dont fancy someone its not going to work, personality is important because if you dont like them as a person it doesnt matter if you fancy the pants off them , stuff in common or at least be willing to make the effort to try out the other persons interests.

Drinking habits can change
Style
Children are part of life
Jobs too can change or be lost
Stuff in common...I would imagine that if you like each others personalities then you possibly have stuff in common...
