God, no girl. You have to live your life. I always go off on my own on hols as all my friends are settled. Although, I do go with part of a tour group like Traveldepartment.ie . It's a safer way of going as you get to meet and mix with people. I know it maybe all older couples in their 50's upwards but you do get to see places and have the craic with the older folks?
Mention this tour group to your parents..

i say go girl its the modern day men go on holidays alone so why shouldn't we have fun and enjoy
deffo go gir, it aint like you are shy and wont talk to anyone... go and have a ball, sure you bound to meet loadsa folks so technically you would never be alone

Thanks guys for your support and kindness (except paulus dickus of course!! I'll just ignore his ignorant attitude.)
I have decided to go for it. Will wait a few weeks and see if I can get a good deal. Single supplement is a killer.. nearly doubles the brochure price of a holiday.
