You don't need to have lots of cash for a date. The movies is cheap enough, a nice walk on the beach, Picnic, Hill Walking..there are lots of things you can do with no cash.

I never said they would be happy about it. I said that why is getting one more important than the other? If a relationships comes along before a job then great, or if a job comes along before a realationship then great also. Why do you need to concentrate on one or the other?

But how can you spend all your energy on one or the other? Are you saying when you're looking for a job you spend 16 hours every day looking? Of course not. You go online, spend an hour or so surfing Job Sites and sending off CV's and Cover letters. Then with a bit of luck you get a few interviews. It hardly takes up enough time that you don't have time for a relationship?

I aggree with Keenland, you don't have to go for either one or the other.I am single and unemployed. I am looking for a relationship and a job.

From my experience the harder I look for a relationship, the further away they become.
I would concentrate on getting a job, as it will make you feel better about yourself and confidence attracts females...
But I wouldnt say no to a relationship if I hadnt got a job...
