DeanoB64: Hi Kitty.
You had rain too,its been pourin here all day and very dull.
Yes your absolutely right,it was..and i think its such a shame that George didnt get more of a chance to show his talent as a songwriter at the start of their carear because he composed some real good material that i"m sure wouldve been a hit.
I"ve been a beatles and john lennon fan for many years now,i"ve looked into their carears both as part of the band and as seperate artistes, done studies on their music and lives.
Just in case your shiverin in all this cold weather i send you a nice huge warm hug to help keep you warm.
Deano.
It's not cold. . . . . just wet, wet, wet. No one's complaining though. First decent rain in a year.
I agree. George was a brilliant songwriter in own right but I guess a bit of Lennon-Macca rubbed off on him.
I think it was when they whacked the White Album together and had a bit of space for George that we really saw what he was capable of.

Hi Kitty.
Yes,let it be was a Macca composition and john couldnt stand it,they actually had many fall outs about that song before it was finally recorded and released.
Back in "65" john composed Help both lyrics n music and he wanted to record it alone, but Macca kicked up a fuss about it and even went to their record producer George Martin and got him to tell john so it was eventually recorded and released as a beatles record composed by lennon/mccartney,and that john was really angry n against.John composed the song out of all his frustration he felt and because he felt trapped n wanted out.He wasnt really happy being a part of (how he put it)..a travellin freakshow.

Hi Kitty.
Thats right,Macca did use to sneak in to re-do some of the drumming.
Macca always use to want to have his name on everything and it caused a lot of arguements and fights between them all.
It was john who was the founder of the band but it was Macca who wanted all the credit for it.
Long before the beatles came to be,john had various other bands, they were..
Johnny n the moondogs...jls skiffle trio...etc,he even got together with ray ennis (later to form the swingin blue jeans)wrote and recorded some material with him on an old mono recorder.
John didnt want the beatles to be all suited up and treated like a group of playful animals,he would have prefered that they had been left alone and not had been messed with.He wanted them as rockers in their scruffy jeans, leathers n boots, but that all came to an end when brian epstein met them and became their manager and john was never pleased with that and always felt uncomfortable.
