galwayguy34: Yes i agree that the SF TDs and councilors do a great job in their communities but i dont think the middle classes will ever vote for them
yes i think ur right,i done 10 years with sf,and it was all good,we did look after the old ,needy,and done jobs that the city hall should have done,professor

Maybe not the middle classes, but i would hope that this generation do give some support as it is for there futures really, most forget the past and they should too, well we will never forget but we need to try and move forward and try to aproach things differently in future wink handshake

sukatai: I think Mary Harney has balls, just dont think that it suits her posture, and she in charge of health,, wonder if she is aware of the rapid obesity in the country,, maybe she will sit down to dinner while she discusses it and share our meal vouchers with Brian.

I'd like to see Fine Gael have a go but not under Enda Kenny's leadership. I think Richard Bruton as leader would do a much better job as Taoiseach than Enda Kenny, Brian Cowan or any of the rest of them...JMO.

i couldn't vote because i don't think any of the parties are capable of running the country with the peoples best interests at heart, i was a member of sinn fein but left because while they were strong on certain issues they dont seem to be cohesive enough to go to the people with a credible alternative to whats already there, the left in this country needs to get together before the next election and offer the people a viable alternative to fianna fail and fine gael
