I see what your saying there, i think people need to forget the name behind the party and follow the people that run them, as you say who would go against mary lou, but we got to remember too that she is what is running the majority of speeches for SF and she is the voice that is getting them noticed more and more each day,, in reality it was the long fella Dev that broke from SF in the first place to set up his own party after jelousy got in his way with things, since then his new party have got the people of Ireland into this mess threwout the years, they became the party of chancers,, SF has never stopped doing what the real members stuck to since it was set up back in the days of Irish support for the folk in the lands of Eire.
They are the ones today that are now been ignord by the people even though they are just break off members from the real Irish government that was set up before Dev got carried away with his own powers as a leader.

If Maggie Thatcher had one fault IMO., is that she was not born Irish........... She stood by what she believed in and never wavered........ I am a great admirer of her strength in a world that was run primarily by men

I think Mary Harney has balls, just dont think that it suits her posture, and she in charge of health,, wonder if she is aware of the rapid obesity in the country,, maybe she will sit down to dinner while she discusses it and share our meal vouchers with Brian.

sukatai: You are very true, but do you not think that SF aren't recogniced in the south because they have not been giving support eneough to let them get back what they first started before Dev decided to branch out and set up this new joke of a group?
I know first hand that the few SF that we have in south are doing and working almost unpaid as volinteers to try and gain trust of the southeners again, and they are doing GREAT work in all departments too.

Yes i agree that the SF TDs and councilors do a great job in their communities but i dont think the middle classes will ever vote for them

Just to see what or how we feel with the imidiate isuses that we have todays in the country?
I as most of ye know would give Sinn Feinn all my votes
as they have helped me so much........... when all the rest promised me help just before elections, and then dragged out until the elections where over just for support to rise there figures. At least i got help from SF after the elections where over, and they never asked me for there support, but i give to those that give to me.
Thats just my story of who and why,, like i said i would pay my taxes to them to give them the support they have gave to me in hard times.
