I don't think you need to put negative things like that on a profile, like "If you want obedience, get a dog." That indicates you expect men to contact you who are narrow minded or old fashioned or mean. The men who contact me are always nice and respectful. When we email and get to know each other, I can learn if he is the type of man I will like or not. I think people put such things in their profile because they don't know how to naturally filter out people they won't get along with. jmo.

People write thngs in their profiles for various reasons and I for one have stated many things that I dislike in a Man in my profile...by doing this I am spelling it out clearly as to what I am not interested in...is this not a filter in it's self....may not be the top of the range filter for that I will have to get a Hepa.....
