God is a Spirit...He is everywhere at all times...omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. His Son, Jesus Christ is the perfect image of the invisible God...and we are created in His image. And yes, He truly loves us and wants a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. At that point, His Spirit does live in your heart, guiding you, and you truly do have a relationship with Him.

You asked and I shall tell you. The God of all creation is real and He left us His word in the king james bible. God is revealed in the scriptures as the Trinity. This could also be called the tri-unity of God. We have three persons forming the Trinity completing God as one God. each personality are coequal in power, having and sharing all the divine attributes together as omniscience, omnipotence, and omnipresence. However they are only different in position only with The Father being first, Christ being second and the Holy Spirit being third. But they collectively are one in essence and in unity needing nothing from man nor anything. And so when Christ was born as a child in a stable even then he had at his command all the combined powers and abilities as God but relinquished them to live as a man. Furthermore Jesus being God eternal had a unique characteristic, He had two natures. He was both God and man combined although without sin. In the book of genisis at creation you have the plural use of," let US make man in OUR image " In the gospels you have Christ telling the pharisee's," before Abraham was I AM " meaning He was the one true God of old.
