Text doesn't carry an accent (but sure does carry some dialect, we all know the craic with that!) - so curious what folks think of the good ol' Blighty tone? :)

For me, as with any accent it depends on the content.
Hadn't really thought of that! Well, even if people share their thoughts on which grind their gears or which tickle their fancy. It's something I've never really thought about. I know the Americans love a blighty accent (southern (the legible kind)), and I know too well the French (parisians specifically) would prefer to stab anyone north of Calais for simply thinking about speaking :P

Tom Hardy could talk me into bed any day with his accent - not sure what part of England he is from though

Anyone else think different English accents carry different stereotypes? More than different Irish accents.. like, the Cockney's are seen as cheeky chappys, liverpudlians..scallys lol, upper class accent, smooth and suave..

Oh Mimi .... it's wrong to use such suggestive language so early in the morning .... I nearly died by drowning there as had a swooning episode into my bowl of Weetos!!!
