1. cause of 12/12/12?
Well, 09/09/09, 10/10/10 and 11/11/11 etc all went by without a hitch. And wouldn't 12/12/1212 been a better time anyway?
2. Because the Mayan calendar ends?
I doubt people who pooped outside have a better grasp on space then we do now, we have the hubble telescope, a space station and landed people on the moon and robots on mars, they....well, pooped outside
3. Because the earth and sun will be aligned on that day with the central force of the universe?
This is true, and guess what, that happens every years since people have existed on the 12th of December
4. The theory that another uncharted planet in or solar system will either collide or get close enough to throw us or alter or orbit?
Math has already taken account for all gravitational forces in our solar system, take physics 101, it is toward the end of that course
Or perhaps you are right and we should all hump like bunnies till than just to be safe

Yes, I agree, this is given, that’s why I don’t refer to human capabilities on earth. But what about the possibility of an asteroid or comet hit on earth, bigger than before? That would not be unique in our galaxy. What about the possibility the earth blows up because of gravity changes into our galaxy? Some more for next time.
