I havnt had a valentines gift since i was a teenager.
My ex never gave me one as he said it was "a waste of money"..Im sure he was right really.
I may sound daft but i send them out to my children....left blank, think they secretly know its me but its become tradition.

Valentines day is just another way of making singles feel lonely.For the last few years a crowd of my single pals and myself book a romantic restaurant and let all hell lose. Just to show the miserable couples what a great time they're missing.

My Dutch ex always claimed the holiday was just commercial BS. But he did occasionally spend $5 on a box of chocolates he brought home to me... did I mention you can get quality Belgian chocolates cheap in the supermarkets here.

yeah....stupid dutch men...
have to agree with that....unfortunately...
fortunately there are great dutch men as well and I happen to know they all live near Apeldoorn....so who knows?
haven't had a valentines
for ages...the last one was 21 years ago..a little pocket with red candy in it....
these days, I would be surprised to even get a small text on my phone.
well....it doesn't bother me...I make a special dinner for me, the kid and the cat.
