It normally depends on my mood when it comes to having beer or liqueur.
The past couple of weeks I have been trying the Samuel Adams Barrel Room Collection beers. So far I have tried American Kriek which has a slight cherry taste and the New World Tripel with a combination of spice and tropical fruit. Both are good but not something I would want all the time. These beers come in a pint bottle with a cork. I have seen 4 different types and may try the other two which I don't remember what they were.
If I do have beer, it's usually Coors Original. For liqueur, it's Seagram's Seven with 7Up.
Every year since my father passed away in 1999, we have done a toast in his memory with Scotch while at the family camp during deer season. Last Nov, we added my brother Daniel to that toast. As some here know, he died of heart failure June of last year couple weeks after his 47th birthday.
For the one who said Jack Daniels was a beer, it's a whiskey

chococherrie: lol so how u spose to drink whiskey then?
Every one I ever had was in a shot glass and went down in one gulp
I have to take that back. A friend gave me a bottle of Old Ezra 7 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey for Christmas one year. By the time I finally killed that bottle, it was about 12 years old This is more of a sipping whiskey and goes down smooth. One of these days I may get another. This time I won't have a kid helping kill that bottle when I'm not around
nevermind beer and if comes to having some it has to be pilzner regardless of the source. now whiskey is entirely different ball game, i would recommend to start with good smooth blended 12yrs and above ,other wise u will never appreciate the taste , and then u gradually hop in to the single malt department n' do your homework well, it an ocean of so many varieties, no matter where it is coming from, high land or lowland , smoked or plain, and here budget kicks in coz we're talkin high end product, expensive thou but the dividend is rewarding.
