NATO and the US should not be doing anything with Gaddafi IMO. If the people of Libya want him out, they need to do it themselves. The only thing we're accomplishing at the moment is helping to replace one dictator with another dictatorship or worse. We don't even know who the opposition is yet we've gone in guns ablazin.
We're going to look really stupid when the identities of those we're helping are confirmed and public. Have we learned nothing from Vietnam, Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan, Egypt, Iraq, etc....

nope he was hung by his own people after being found guilty in a court recognised by both the international community and the Iraqi people .

He should be given a fair trial in front of a judge like everyone deserves. If he is found quilty of crimes against humanity he should be imprisoned for life.

I find it interesting that everyone is condemming the man for whats currently happening in his country.
If you look at it from another perspective ...is he not simply putting down an armed rebellion against his government.
Hes actually been a pretty good boy in the eyes of the international community since he renounced terrorism etc .
What would the retubution be given a different country and a different government. A bunch of armed hooligans tring to take on the government and cause an overthrow .
I ponder what would happen in the US or UK or any of the civilised western countrys ....would not the reaction be swift bloody and violent from that countrys armed forces ?
