If underage boy/girl approached you at the entrance of convenience store or market. And requested you to buy alcohol(or for simplicity say - just a beer) for him/her, what would you do ?

amahlala: Since I have no reasons to want to go to jail, I will ignore the little kid or tell them to go away. I will not buy alcohol for minors...
Here in the UK, you are liable to get a £1000 fine if you're caught buying alcohol for minors.
I tend to just tell them that I have no intention of buying anything for them. If they start to get mouthy, I just tell them that they're lucky they caught me off duty. That usually makes them leave the area as well for some odd reason
last I heard AP is not a dry state except on voting days and some public holidays !
Well maybe not in convenience store but there are licensed shanty bars and pubs there. Stop spending your whole time on CS ! you need to go out more often

Oh, and no. I'm not police officer
I know in some cities/towns here in the US, they "set-up" little sting operations to catch those 21 and over buying alcohol for teens.

Though I rarely drink these days i still consider myself an alchoholic. I will not contribute to the possibility of that happening to another human being!

rohaan: Fair enough question. NO. Certain privileges should be kept for adults, and alcohol, smoking are two I agree with being for adults only.
Back in the 1970's in California liquor stores would make deliveries. This almost came to a standstill because teens were ordering the delivery off their folks credit, liquor driver would leave the booze, kid gets drunk, liquor store got in trouble. I believe they put a stop to delivering this way. Not sure.
rohaan: Try Orange Juice, not BARLEY JUICE! what's that they say in French--"Il est buerre?" (he is butter, or otherwise, VERY drunk!)is that right?
I do both ! It is the french keyboard and multiple windows, i end up hitting wrong button. "Il est buerre?" Pardon my french as they say I am Fresh off the boat from UK. I always wanted to use that phrase ... lol
rohaan: oops--no connecting vowels allowed, so should it be "mon ami" Hope you are enjoying France--
Your command of the language is enviable! I have been to Paris/France before. At times Paris is too touristy for me. I guess, for me it is not the place but people...If you find people that you enjoy, any damn place is wonderful....

I met once a guy and we went for shopping...
we bought two pallets (24 cans each) of beer
I thought it was for us
back at his home...
none of it was for us
he gave both to his sons who lived with him
one was 13 years old the other 16
then he told them, how much they have to charge for each can of beer of their friends...
