Evening shay, counting fir flies is without doubt the coolest thing I've heard to do when in the dark. I wanna count fire flies now.
lg, There is something that tells me you are the type of person that could do anything that you so desire, and if I may say, you have "THAT" look which would see you invited to many an audition.
Great recommendations, lachi, and all noted, especially the umbrella. It hasn't rained that much here in Ubud this year really, which is surprising as every other time I've been here it has, just lucky I guess.
Yeah, I remember the traffic in Jakarta. Think I will take a Damri from airport to Gambir station then taxi from there.
I believe black magic, god, etc are all man made superstitions, or things that are not based on reason or knowledge, to try and explain things people don't understand.
Having children to bring you closer to your spouse or somehow cement a relationship, or as a testament of your love, just reinforces my belief the majority of people have children for the wrong, and often selfish reasons - that's not to say the child won't be loved by these parents.

I have a friend visiting from Scotland and we will be heading to the madness that is Kuta, Bali, to dance, drink and generally see the new year in disgracing ourselves and behaving like teenagers as apposed to forty somethings.
