Acting your age
Out until 9am this morning (happy new year by the way)I'm really feeling my age. While dancing last night I had the realization I was the oldest person in the room and although this doesn't particularly worry me it did raise the questions, "At what point do you start acting your age, if at all?" And,"Is there any real reason to consider this question?" - if your having fun just do it.When did you either last feel your age, or, thought you weren't acting your age.

Nothing to worry, age is just a number they say. Just do whatever makes you happy as long as you don't hurt anybody.
Yes, I agree that age is just a number and should have little effect on WHAT we want to do. Perhaps we should however be aware of HOW we do it.
Yash, if I even see a Johnnie Walker label I will

At all other times I remain firmly fixed in delusion and denial.
HNY to all ....
I've always considered myself an old soul with juvenile inclinations, these more youthful, exuberant displays surfacing at often embarrassing moments.
I have never felt the sensation of being older or younger, always age has seemed to me to be an eternal constant. This "time" thing being a bit of a man made illusion, but that's another topic.
RDM,HNY. Delight in your delusion as I'm sure you do.
Hey Sur, happy new year!!
There are some I wish would blabber less and others I would prefer to blabber more. You my friend are firmly rooted in the latter.
And your kind invitation has not been forgotten, good Sur, and I may well remind you of it regularly.
i do particpate in the breakfasts and lucheons though as a return of business etiquette.
I think you should do what you want to if you can still do it. Aga should be no barrier!
G'day El, It seems you have a chameleonesque way about you which should put you on most invitation lists.
Hi Ed, I think I remember you telling me about your dancing at one time, I hope I can still cut a rug for a few more years to come.
