It happened overnight
I just saw myself for the first time in over 5 weeks and I have to say I am SHOCKED!!! I look sooo old. I had of course realized the aging process was taking place over the last 45 years, but at least in those previous years the incremental aging seemed to be occurring at a slightly less rapid pace. I am hoping it is a result of recent strenuous activity and not my body clamoring to get to the end of its use by date.Have you experienced a period where you seemed to age quicker than at other times whether it be in appearance, the mind or physically? Do you feel your age?
If only it was in me to take a twenty something sweet young thing to make me feel better about it all. *Heavy Sigh*

I had the same... when I had my first 30's birthday last year. I looked at the mirror.. I was shocked.. that I look old..
It stressed me out...
Probably means... I still couldn't let go my 20's time.
since I'm 30 now... and this year will be 31... I never lookin forward for my birthday...
when people getting older...people always say I wish I was 20.. I wish I was 30.. I wish I was 40... I wish I was 50.. and so on...
that's human's nature.
but as for aging.. let me tell ya.. (can I tell ya? okay...lol)
As the years have passed, I began noticing that the years were passing.. and as I noticed this, I thought I must be aging.. and as I was aging, I guess I was getting older, and I knew this because I noticed my number on my age was getting higher with each year that passed too.
I learned all this because I once went to college for a time.. and sometimes I even went to class when I was there. lol.
So you see, education does help in our lives.
Sheeesh, I feel old after writing all this. Anyway, hope my comment helps you with your situation... eh, what was it again?
Reminds me of an old joke.
What's the worst thing about having a colostomy bag?
Finding the shoes to match.

Big Swedish mountain climber? I thought sherpa is stronger in climbing the Himalayas
Thanks, but bring yourself back home in great condition is more than enough, mate
Enjoy Nepal
Oh well, Nepal seems a long way to go for me
Most likely north of Thailand next year
SO LOOK YOUNG, STAY YOUNG at heart and enjoy life the way you can.
Hi Amalia - Having spent some time in Asia I have noticed some cultures do place more responsibility on children than others perhaps and as a consequence, in certain ways, these children grow up well before their time. I guess there has to be a balance though, like everything. A little partying and exploring should be alright when you are young. Lord knows your body makes it harder as you get older to do those things.
When I was in my 21-25 years I feel like I am only 18. When I reached 26, that's the time I feel the maturity much. In terms with appearance, hmm, I am thin when I was younger, gain some weight as the years gone by. With the face, still the young one with a bit of lines. Mind is working good, and thinking a lot. That's more like it.
hi shay, lachi

Hi Lach, Captain
HM No matter how you look or feel Bro; I still congratulate you on your heroic & daring adventure down the Murray river. Not many would have done it or maybe survived to tell the tale. I hereby nominate you for the CS "Most Daring Man Award"
Life is an adventure - Live it! from the same Sage!
I stick to the saying: "Getting old like a cathedral" And I feel very encouraged when I see women older than me who look amazing (without plastic surgery). Also, I am encouraged of the fact that my parents look very young for their age.
Now wouldn't THAT be a fun thing to do - a CS Blogs world tour.
My advice would be: Stay away from mirrors until you got a good period to rest... ofcourse it's a result from strenuous activity.
I don't feel I age quick; I do feel time flies by faster though (there is a difference, hehe).
I love my 40's; feel much better than when I was in my 20's and what I might have lost in energy, I gained in wisdom... I have people do things for me now instead of doing them myself
Guess it's all about your state of mind anyway... tell yourself very often that you're a 20 something year old god and you'll start believing it... once you believe it, others will see it too - kudos to mindpower
Just sent you a actual mail; my explanation would be too boring and off topic to post in your blog
