inthemind... its sooo interesting, i play virtual money on the jse (johanisburg stock exchange) you knew that probebly. i get up at 5 each morning and study the markets (the ones i have invested interest in) that and world finacial news, what the asdek and american markets closed on and what we closed on i play with derivatives etc. but only day trading on jse for now... once i have that down i will try my hand at forex ;)
always good to keep yourself stimulated mentaly even if you have nothing to gain from it.

yip inthemind, even in our stock markets i spend half my time reading up on the american market, i even need to know the american market rythems. and when the american market opens i need to be out because we drop! that is around 2 o clock here.
i try to so hard blue but if no one is with you its hard... have you been at word talking about programs ot music and the only thing you have in comon with your co workers is american culture? i have. listen to afrikaans utch german and swedish music almost exclusively the same with programs, but talking to my co workers all they know is american programing and music. i found the same all over the world. i travel to experience other cultures... but those lines are getting very blured.

the european cultures is great! there are so many people in such a small space yet all those different countries are so unique, just like in south africa, we have 11 diferent official languages and so many different cultures yet everyone of those are unique and pure.
then when you look at the way america influences the world it makes you wonder. in aus i turned on the tv and found comedy central fox an other american networks the same in s.a. and the same in europe.
i dont want to live in a world where no matter where i go im in america.

hi red no i think you have misunderstood, what i am saying is the world got confused and took your culture as theyres instead of preserving theyre own. look at tv gameshows for instance australia south africa newzealand we all have the same just with different names... farmer wants a wife etc.
weeping you are right "unfortunately" we are all why to diverse, but the blogs helps us sort our differences. in the end it makes us diverce lot get along.
becca i have no tiff with either of you, the things you said was not realy nice nor necesary, in my opinion. but thats all in the past now. lets all just get along, if firaz and i can do it then anyone can.

i get yoy lazly... you must fight for yourself it only honourable. ask firaz him and i had huge fights on here... but we have burried the hatched. there are points that we will never see eye to eye on but thats just human, we all have our own opinions and believes
lol... hey ask me it works in threes. the first three is the worst then three weeks this is a crusial time concerning temper and will power keeping the one ang losing the other lol.. then it get slightly easier after 3 months you are pretty much in the clear. i quit for almost 2 years, but started again as i enjoy it.
i am proberbly just to structured... must be the german blood. everything has to fit into this strict structure i have developed over the years. thanks for the eye opener guys, just self pshycoanilised myself lol.

well morgan i heard a guy from belgium tell me the one time that afrikaans is the dutch they spoke 100 years back. it is very different yet very simular. dutch has alot more tencess etc where afrikaans only has one, much the same as swedish in that aspect where most germanic languages has alot more forms an tences, like male female and neuter.
i thought dutch was going to be very easy to pick up, and that i will get along in the netherlands easely speaking afrikaans... i was ver wrong lol when they started talking to me in dutch i had no idea what they where saying... i had to go study it lol.
