Susane when i was in Austria for the first time some yars ago, they sayed to me Proist! i understood they call me prost wich means stupid in rumanian, i got so rea din the face and with the beer i was all most throw the beer in them, then they start laugh and i was smliling fake asking what is going one with them, then they explain that means cheers!
Bungallow your mestake was that you tell him ur alone, you should tell him my gf from Europe come stay with me some time and i want be alone with her. That can be a good escuse

You mean he want to visit you? or live with you is a diffrence.., maybe he want to visit you, anyway your not responsable for the life of your bother he is an adult so tell him rent a room at hotel if he want visit you if he stay longer with all those kids for crise.
Maybe because your brothers didnt want you to sufer to much, or maybe because it was hard for them to tell you..it can be any reason why they didn't told you at time. My mother hide stuff from me also not to sufer and i was so spist of on her when dad was all most dieing on hospital and me i find out last.
