RE: Vox Pop

nonsmoker, .. I believe it is possible to predict what will become the next big evil. But the ones able to recognise it are to far from the problem, and the ones that are able to change it are to close to the source to recognise the problem.

RE: Vox Pop

interesting.. seems like some want to kill the innocent child (yes at that time even he was innocent). What has triggered in this child to grow up to who we all know? What happens if you take away that trigger? Does it mean Ww II doesn't happen? or does it mean someone else plays his role?

What if WW II doesn't happen? would the world be a better place?
This war has shown humanity many things, It has shown was rascism, fascism can lead to. it has shown what nuclear weapons can do.

I believe humanity has learned important lessons from this.

Europe, western europe at least has been at peace ever since.. they have found ways to work together peacefully.

simmo, that should show you how foul my language is when it comes to describing you. rolling on the floor laughing only joking mate... but i might do a blog about you someday.

redex, I've lost about 90kg in little over a year. so guess you can say i lost some weight. the lovely lady in my picture is Jenny also a member of cs and my lovely wife to be. We've been together for about a year now. Hope to welcome her for her first european visit next month.

paranoid

Simmo, I have tried writing blogs about you in the past.. but as soon as i want to publish it i get messages saying i can't use such foul language. I haven't been able to find a way around that. rolling on the floor laughing

I am free to come and go as i please, but I limit myself to reading only on most occasions.

Zman, Oh i laugh about it most times, just can't help feeling sorry for some.

Welela, as you might remember this event was organised by me and some friends. This event was pretty much the only thing we still did together. As we all have busy lives, and this event takes up so much of our free time. The actual visits are just a few hours, but getting donations and gifts is a job that goes on an entire year, and with the crisis it doesn't get easier to collect things. So a few people of our group have decided to quit.

I am however pleased to say that i was able to find an organisation that is more proffesional and better organised then us to take over this event so the children won't need to miss out on anything.

I myself have taken a year off as well, not sure what i will do in the future. I might join this organisation or another group in the area that organises house visits and such.

RE: LETS PLAY

Lucky for me i'm blessed with both beauty and brains.. or is it just a lot of selfconfidence. Guess i'll go for the brains.

The wallet will be returned with everything in it. However if i had found an empty wallet i would deliver it to the policestation. just to avoid discussion in case someone had found the wallet before me and took out the money.

RE: Babe it,s cold outside!

This week we had -1 celcius... and i was complaining already. good luck to you scott

RE: Blog search

if you know the blogger just find it by his/her profile.
otherwise i would try the "last commented" option on the left side.. and just scroll back... if its been a day or 2 it shouldn't be more then 3 pages that you need to check.

RE: an easy life??

RE: The good old days

A common thing to say for each new generation. I remember my grandfather saying it, now my dad and i even start doing it myself nowadays.
Basicly its an easy way to express concerns about certain aspects of daily life.
Some things have changed and won't be considered an improvement to some. Others on the other hand may think these changes are for the better. A community as a whole will determine where things go to in the future, some changes we will like others we won't. Its the price we pay for evolution.
