Threw mine in the bin when I retired, I'd had one since the days when it they came in a shoulder bag & weighed about half a ton, in all those years, mainly due to cost of calls back then I think, I never had one call with good news, so was ecstatic when the time came I could bin it. Now unfortunately due to living up a mountain in Spain I've had to get a new one in case the car breaks down & I need to call a tow truck
Parti I must admit that the reason I started using Firefox was a deep hatred for microsoft & I don't really want anyone to what underpants I wear so that's Google out the window as they want every bit of personal information you own to use any of their products.
Virgo, yes no problem with u tube vids & everything else is fine, these problems only started occurring after several updates in quick succession, it seems to me in the race for browser supremacy the leading companies are forgetting that above all else reliability is key, not everyone has the hardware you do & if their products don't work on older machines that's half the world off the net. This is a dating site after all & I know from talking to them that a lot of ladies on hear are using computers that came from Noah's Arc.
St Elmo, I did an update for flash yesterday on Firefox & seems to be ok, I would have kept the old but as usual it was saying update for security reasons.
Virgo, I have a microwave link or I can use a satellite connection with 110mbps so bandwidth isn't the problem, anyway everything was fine till the last few weeks when we had a load of updates.
Don't take it to heart sinky, no reply is standard operating procedure here, there are not that members with manners like welela, sure you'll find what you're looking for in the end.
You've become too reliant on new technology you need something older, built to last, us oldies my be a bit slower but we are more reliable, get the job done & still work even in a power cut.
Also might be worth staying logged on otherwise you'll end up on page 30 on search, unless you look a dead ringer for a Hollywood actor most ladies will be bored by the time they get to you
