This is an update about my barking dog. Well 10 years later, he still acts lije a puppy and yes he still barks at every noise he hears and every move he sees.
Thank you all for your understanding and comments. My litle dolphin is doing great with his mama dolphin. Not looking for a father for my little fish at all. Some day I may find that one right man for me and if he is fair and good we would share in the raising of my little fish whom i might add is not little no more. He is a teenager and taller then me. They grow up when your not looking. One min. they are wearing their blanket as a cape and flying around like superman then you blink, in walks a teen on the verge of man or women hood. Next time you look away their are adults and working , paying their own way in life and do not need you any more. Thats the way it should be I know. It all happens with a blink.
Thanks for all your answers. i have came to the conclusion That he barks so much because he can. I also think he is a bit hyper. I talked to some one today that said he would prob grow out of most of it. Also if i get him fixed he most likely will settle right down. He does not run loose so i chose not to have him fixed. If he does not relax some on the barking when he is 2 yrs old then i will revisit the idea of getting him snipped.
I tried water and he will stop for one min then just starts again. i think he must have one of those personalities where he is just going to be a barker i guess. I hope not, hopefully he will grow out of it cuz I do not think he can be stopped.The shocker collar is looking better and better...lol
My dog is outside alot He is in and out all day long. He is a little over a year old. Still a pup yet. I know a bit about dogs, i used to work for a breeder in a pet shop. have had a dog my whole life as well. I think some dogs just take more time then others to learn proper behavior. Maybe by the time he is 2 he will do better.
He barks if the wind blows lol and thats the truth. He barks if he ( thinks ) he hears a noise. At anything he sees. At any thing that moves, even if it did not move. I dont understand. I told him i am going to get him debarked...lol
OMG sounds like my dog. lol He has never bitten no one before. He is a playful dog and maybe a bit crazy too.lol.. I tried positive reinforcement for the barking thing and it had no effect. He is lucky we care for him so much...lol
No not tried a bark collar, its a good idea but would rather try something else first. but may have to resort to that..thanks for the idea, It's a good one.
I do not believe in a higher culture. Only different cultures. That's part of what makes our world what it is, most good but some may not be so good. Our differences in culture makes a more interesting society. a world without these differences would be almost robotic and certainly a big bore.
Ok, thanks for all comments...Update the child has been taken away by state and when the unborn child is born it will be taken as well. I should have posted this a month ago . any way all is well now.
