As I see it there are quite a few on here that want to be heard but don't want to listen. Egos consider it a win to point things out and get no argument. The easiest way to steal that cheap win is to make it to where there is no way to argue back or reply with an intelligent alternative.
I've only been around a short time Doc but what I have seen, your thoughts and opinions have always been worth the time to read and think about, even when they differ with mine. Stay safe and enjoy your time away!
People always reflect on the past. There is nothing wrong with that, but when it comes to old relationships or loves usually they re in your past for a reason. remember that reason, it will help.

It is easy to look at ranchers grazing their cattle on BLM land and saying that he should give something back. As you stated in your blog that he was billed $1 million for what his family owed. That is ridiculous and once again our government stole our tax money and now they are looking for more money to steal elsewhere. BUT there is another side to grazing on public lands. People do not realize that these animals keep the vegetation down tremendously and it has a huge effect on wild land fires. If they want to bill the ranchers a ridiculous amounts for grazing the ranchers will just take their stock elsewhere and the government can eat the hundreds of millions it will cost to fight these fires that will have a seemingly endless amount of fuel on a rugged terrain where access is limited. But then again that may be the plan as well. To find another reason to mismanage American's money in hopes the whole thing will cave in on itself.
Leah.. I am inclined to agree that Hollywood does have a role in how the world sees Americans. But I believe that it is not Hollywood that is creating the dislike that is quickly turning to hate for the united states. I am sure that Hollywood is not creating wars in the middle east over and again, I'm sure Hollywood is not standing at a presidential podium while making threats to foreign leaders or outright lying to the world and US citizens as well. I am certain that Hollywood is not attempting to tell other world leaders how to run their countries and how their citizens should be treated. On the good side of it I do believe that a lot the world citizens also see that it is not the American citizen that is causing all the problems but it's leaders. If the world saw us a so bad then we would not be as welcomed or treated as well as we are in these forums or about any other social media where citizens of the world gather.
that is definitely a hell of a read and a real eye opener. I am a believer in the death penalty but you bring many valid points to the table. it seems to me that the ones who deserve it, beyond the shadow of a doubt do not get it. there was a time when law enforcement was honest and truthful, judges were not swayed by politics and corruption and prosecutors were after truth more than a conviction. I suppose as time has gone on and greed and power have infected every part of the American system with corruption and theft, one should reflect and ask themselves if what we are doing is still the right thing to do. I've said it before... I love my country by I fear my government.

personally I have a "god" or whatever folks call their higher power... I believe in him and he loves me. I am very comfortable with that... and I am even more comfortable that I don't have a title that I refer to as my religion... which works for me because when I go to heaven ill be the only one standing in my line....

here is my take on it. first thing is your words "going out with." if youre going out with this man i would say dating someone else is not an option friend or not. to me going out with someone is a relationship, especially if you been doing it for a year. you may love this man with all your heart but if after a year with you and he can not say it back my bet is something is missing and most likely wont ever be found. lets be truthful here. you been going out with this guy for a year and are on a dating site so my money says you are probably not all the way in it with him either. as i read it id say the way to go is forward. tell him the truth about exactly how you feel for him and if he feels the same then close the CS account, tell the old friend the facts and make a life with this guy. if he cant seem to want to commit tell him where the road is, date your old friend and see what CS can do for you...be honest with yourself and be honest with him.. just my two cents. and honestly your definition of "going out" and mine may not be the same.
