Hello Legnai, My thanks for taking your time to share your experience and thoughts on this. That was thought provoking and helpful. Wish you a pleasant time
Thanks for sharing your story. You are right, elderly are getting deaf and am also guilty of being impatient with my grandmother because I had to repeat myself again and again though I didn’t shout at her. Sometimes, I just forgot that her body is failing her already. I am not saying that we don’t have rude youngster in my country, there are, but not that common.
Thanks for sharing your story. Yes, again your story tells me that it is a cultural thing. It depends how we are brought up and what the kids saw the adult was doing is what is right to them. We are only following to what is the norm in our society. So we can not blame anyone. Continue being a model to your kids.
Thank you for sharing your thought.. I think your idea is realistic, we do not know what life will bring. With your opinion, I am glad and lucky I can count on my family… I mean culture wise, we have an extended family.. so I can count on “non direct” family members for that..
Thanks for your reference… I was browsing it and it enlightened me a lot…
Yes, it is a cultural thing but one thing is sure, everybody wants to live life with dignity and honor. Am glad your mum is doing fine, and I think she has a good point. But in my country,we can not choose how to die.. I mean the much debated “ Assisted Death and Euthanasia”
Even when things are gloomy.. wish we could sport that beautiful smile, always For all we know, it can brighten someone's day. A strong person will always smile in the morning even if she was crying last night..
@ George: well, i have heard that even rich people can have this inferiority complex by feeling "being poor" when they do have so much already...hence, they hoard things, become greedy and want so much more. The irony is, at the end of the day, they are still worried.. anxious that they be robbed or murdered for their money hmmmn, am not generalizing though. So am just happy to have enough...
hello Tela, thanks for welcoming me.. been here for a little while, was just enjoying everybody's blog Just decided to join in today.. Nice meeting you too
people will always break us down... but lets not allow them to cripple us permanently.. lets try to pick up the pieces, rebuild ourselves and stand up stronger than ever... wheeew.. seems easier said than done but no harm in trying
@ robrt: hmmn, so money, in excess or lack of it is NO GOOD. Should I say have it in moderation... lol Regarding the pretty lady, she must like the lottery winnings and that you are a bonus.... lol (again)
@ boban: im willing to spend much just to be able to do awesome adventure which I can reminisce when I get old and wheelchair bound. Is good to have a wallet though.
I CHANGED... AND ITS NOT TOO BAD AFTER ALL
