Money's Worth
What is the importance of money nowadays?With the current crisis everywhere, i should say money is a piece of paper which can buy me comfort and security. But it cant bring into my home genuine happiness.. Many rich family are still crying and lonely. Maybe, it brings short term/ temporary joy but not an enduring happiness.
Henrik Ibsen once wrote:
Money maybe a husk for everything but not a kernel
It brings you food but not appetite
Medicine but not health
Acquaintances but not friends
Servants but not faithfulness
days of pleasures but not peace nor happiness
I can still see the poor people in my country smiles, even heartily laugh to the point of crying..
So, what really makes us genuinely happy?
My take on what makes me real happy?
1. Love and care of family and true friends
2. Worth remembering, adrenaline pumping adventure, magnificient
and awesome mother nature
3. Achievements which i really worked for either big or small
4. Feace of mind, non stressful life and freedom
I am a hypocrite if i say i dont need money. Of course i do, everybody does. I need it for my food, i need it to see and wonder about how amazing nature is but it is not that hardcore important...

I don`t really care about awesome adventures ,I do sleep excellent ,I don`t have money in my pocket,I have a wallet ...
Is good to have a wallet though.
YES.. money comes and goes.. with me, it mostly goes. lol.
Of course, with a love in our life, who needs money? er but then without money, we may lose our loved one.. we may lose our friends.. Hmmm. Okay, then we all need money!! Lots of it!!! Yeah! lol
Regarding the pretty lady, she must like the lottery winnings and that you are a bonus.... lol (again)
We should be happy to have a enough money to buy food and pay our bills. Maybe a little bit extra for those special times. But so many people are so greedy and want more than they will ever need. I sometimes wonder if these people are happy in who they are or will spend their lives thinking they need wealth to make them admired or envied by others. I agree with you, having enough to give comfort and security is all you need for true happiness.
The irony is, at the end of the day, they are still worried.. anxious that they be robbed or murdered for their money
hmmmn, am not generalizing though.
So am just happy to have enough...
