Hi @Redex ...I believe that love is everywhere. LDR is one of the way love takes to reach his/her lover. if you are sure about him... just propose him to meet you in the middle as soon as you can to find out wether it is an investment or a wasting of time...
I did that when I knew someone and we felt we were in love in the first month or so. I propose him to meet in the middle to find out if I invest or waste my time being with him... and we were together after our first meeting for I thinking for almost two years till we found out that our destination had changed to a different way eventually.

Ian it is not about how much her money how much your money but if she dates a man not wealthy enough, the choices are only two, she changes her life style to the level of the man, which might be lower than her, or she pays the dates cost as per her level.
But if she dates a man who is in the same level of her financially, dates can be done without worry who will pay the dates, where to go and how it would happened...
Love and date are more lovely and memorable when money is out of questions.....

I believe that people see thing is depending on what state they are. for me and many others who is lucky to be surrounded by good things around would always see things in good way. for some others who is not would see things in the mood they have. and for some people who hate life would see things in sarcasm way...
I am happy with my life and happier with him around. even though still I never think they are all firmatively belong to me. I'm trying to enjoy all what are passing by in my life without labelling them as mine. I'm doing my life one day after the other, one step after the other. one day, something someone somehow would take them from me. it could be lost, separate or even dead... and since I realise that they are not mine, I would let myself sad for awhile and moving on...
I wish I could share a little bit color of life to Iotaao in India....
