Hi Gladioluss, you are very right that internet does a great job in connecting people, especially at such moments! Remember the time when there were only letters and land phones :)
Saskia, people back then were more open to each other, but would we be brave enough to invite a stranger at home nowadays? Times are dangerous... But I think we can do it for some lonely friend or relative, or make some gesture of attention, like a present or nice words, or something else, to make at least one person happy. Instead of running on the shops like an insane one and give money for silly presents that nobody will use, we can think of something more helpful.
Sara, I have great impression from Danes. That guy Benny whom I dated, was very handsome, funny and kind, and my daughter s best friend Tine is a Dane too and she and her family are great people, very calm and considerate. Hope everything will go great with you two
Pranoy, in my interaction on the blogs I am not really interested how the person looks. I check out the profiles of newcomers or people I don t know well, to get to know more of the person I am talk to or whose comments/blogs I read. A lot can be learnt from a profile, even if it s a fake one.
One more thing, sorry for the multiple comments, George. Bulgarian is a very old language too, at least of 1500 years and the Cyrillic alphabet was introduced in Bulgaria first by the disciples of the saints Cyril and Method. BTW Bulgarian is a quite difficult language, somewhere between German and Finnish
As about using the Google translation, my impression is that not many people use it here. I know about a person who uses it and it can be seen in their blogs which are hardly understandable.
George, in University I learned Ancient Greek but only for one semester, according to the program. Latin has a lot in common in its Grammar with German. I love Latin proverbs.
Spasibo George! Vash russkij jazik otlichen! Vi viuchili ego prekrasno i teperj vi nado naiti nekotoraja ocharovateljnaja russkaja devochka :)
Thank you Connect! I can read it, it s not hard. The hard is the Grammar (the cases) and the complex words, but I agree it s easier to go from the practice to the rules. German is more difficult than English or French but there are much more difficult languages ;)
Bulgarian, English, Russian, and mostly passively French. I know a lot of German, Spanish, and Italian words too. I d love to learn German, I love this language.
RE: WITH FAMILY AT CHRISTMAS IN THE GULF
