Serenity, once a bodibuilder colleague was in my room and he talked something to my colleague while he was with his profile to me. After he went out she asked me: So? What was the view from there? And no he didn t wear saggy ones
Thank you so much Frank, I m glad you liked my pic :))
As about the prisoners, you are absolutely right! Does it show some passive... orientation?
So sorry for your loss Saskia! And for the awful things that happen there... It s not too far from Bulgaria, but in any case, it s dangerous for the whole world. We are all connected in a global world...
Teddy if I liked it somewhere else, I wouldn t be here. I have only used OKCupid as a paid site (it has free options too) and I practically immediately met a man here. We met in reality too but it worked only for several months. It was before I joined CS.
As about other paid sites, I had started creating accounts on a couple of them, but they were so long and detailed and boring that I gave it up. And everything was controlled by the site, you can t browse profiles but they decide who matches your profile and it seemed to me like they treated you as an imbecile.
I have heard from a friend that there were some really expensive sites where people are serious for a steady relationship. I haven t tried them though.
Hi Chame1eon! Great to see a blog from you and a very intersting one :) It reveals you from a bit unexpected angle and it only shows how interesting people are :) We share some common preferences, like supporting the right wing in politics and the love for Italian food and Indian textiles.
About myself, I think my outside matches my inside practically 100%. At least the way I see myself. About others, they have always been surprised I am into hard rock and metal music, I only hope I don t look like someone liking "Titanic"
Serenity, I have read it I think exactly about American schools but I may be wrong. In all the cases, the children are more motivated to learn through things thy know and like. But the genre of tweeting... I don t know what it develops... maybe it can be considered as some modern haiku
As about you writing down your thoughts, it s a famous modern style called "stream of consciousness".
Hey Lgs, where have you been? Great profile pic, you look like radiating happiness :)) I can t wait for the holidays! You have wonderful ones too! And stay more with us here :)
Dear Serenity, thank you so much for complimenting my English even though now I see how many typos I have done in my prevous comments You are one of the most eloquent bloggers here and I am thankful to everybody here for helping improving my English. Reading the blogs and comments and interacting with people is a great way to improve the language skills. The different styles and topics are also very helpful in getting to know different ways of communicating.
As I have mentioned before, the blog genre is already included in the school programs of some countries as very efficient and modern way exactly to express yourself in a brief and eloquent way.
P.S. Great that you are an artistic person and that CS helped you revealing your talents :) I had never blogged before coming to CS so it helped me getting more articulate in English. But what s most valuable of my stay here, is my knew knowledge about the human nature: of others and myself.
Serenity, with "expressing" I meant expressing my innerself through sharing my thoughts, experience, points, knowledge etc. And it s interesting to me seeing others express themselves. Of course, you are right that the form, style etc is an important part of expressing one s personality too :)
P.S. "In totalitarian countries the rate of crimes is very low due to the severe punishments including death." I will add, due to the presense and huge role of police (and the army) everywhere in people s life. Often such regimes are called police regimes.
The comparison with China is incorrect since China is a communist country and in totalitarian countries the rate of crimes is very low due to the severe punishments including death. Also, as you know in China the corruption and other (political) crimes are punished with death sentence. therefore the low percentage of the incarcerated people. Last but not least, the data and statistics coming from a totalitarian country are highly doubtable. Statistics is considered a highly ideologized field in such countries, in a word, if the data comes from the Chinese authorities, it s 100% fake.
RE: Do you believe gypsy women?
Frank, and to copy paste your comments until the end of the world (which may be not too far)As a celebrity have said: "I love talking with myself, at least I am sure I am talking with someone clever"
Dear Mitsos, maybe she meant she would kick the bucket soon, with all those cigarettes Don t lose hope!
