RE: Emotional Energy - Blog 1

Morning Rich!

Interesting blog! I would like to add as a point - getting to know who we actually are. I believe to have a soul and when happiness is relevant I also relate this to my soul and can be thankful to feel happy. If a person thinks he is only a product of chemical processes in the body and only of the connections in the brain the outlook must be different. This outlook would be totally contrary to mine. hug coffee

RE: Third World War, A great possibility?

Hi Lindsy, I think that the negotiations of the international organizations and political parties have gained a higher quality in preventing dangerous and inhumane events to be put in action.

RE: This touched my soul today...

@unlaoised, thanks for mentioning the other activists and heroes who helped Nelson Mandela to free the country! But Mandela was a sort of a figurehead, and the special thing about him was that when he was released from prison and became President he went a way with compromises between the several parties and brought along peace between all the nations. He was also given the Nobel Peace Prize for his work. wave

RE: Eyewitnesses to the Resurrection of Christ

Hi Serendi!
I think religious facts can never be proved, but will always stay a matter of belief. once a muslim stated something very nice to me which is also interesting for us Christians: God is a treasure wanting to be found.
Based on some main indicators like the existence of the Holy Bible and pthers, and due to my intuition which is given to me by God, I believe. blues heart wings

@Lukeon, I like the red earth, and I can remember from childhood the good smell when it has got drained from the rain..happy place

But I've always been afraid of the strong lightnings very close to the earth mostly happening in the Summer evenings... wow

RE: This touched my soul today...

Jac, Nelson Mandela also used to say that when we have reached the peak of a mountain we will see even more peaks to be reached.
It is our duty to contnue his great work. And there is still so much work to be done for more humanity.

Terrific blog which means a great hug for Mandela's soul! hug heart wings

RE: Spring Colors

In Austria we mostly only have Winter, and a few very hot days in Summer. In between these two seasons we mostly have a mixture of rain and sun.

@Lukeon, South-Africa has a wonderful climate. Mainly it's like Summer or like Spring. Maybe some wind, but it's never too cold, nor too hot.. cheering

RE: An Eye For An Eye?

Morning Cat! So many murders a day? doh
in this case I am really kept cosy here! laugh
But, jokes aside. In Vienna there was a place where many murders used to happen. Many efforts have been made to prevent this going on. One effort was to supply work groups for the youths living in poverty and under insecure family condotions. After ten years now there is hardly a murder happening there anymore.

I don't know what the problems are in SA. One fact I heard is that the crimes are mostly committed by the emigrants from other African countries. Anyhow this high murder rate shouldn't continue. The problems causing this have to be solved in its roots. sad flower

RE: An Eye For An Eye?

Hi Cat!

Thanks for bringing this challenging topic again! To kill a murderer is still also murder. I think in times we live nowadays other alternatives to killing humans can and should be found. comfort

@ loulou, after changing your mind several times I'm glad you found your point..! laugh wave
