RE: Is God real part 2

LoveDoctor, the good is stronger than the evil! peace heart wings cool

RE: EE4 - Love, Kindness, and Charity

Morning Rich,
have a wholesome breakfast for gaing more energy! coffee coffee coffee popcorn popcorn

My further thoughts: Emotional energy differs in quality and quantity either if it is love to family and friends ( based mainly on destiny), love to a person we choose ( based mainly on trust), love to society ( based on our experiences in it), love to ourself ( based on selfsufficiency), love to God ( based on the status of our soul). If we have had any bad experiences within one of these kinds of love this can hinder us to act positively with our emotional energy towards others. I guess we have all got hindered in some way.

Let us still try everything to live with positive energy! cheering peace hug laugh

RE: EE4 - Love, Kindness, and Charity

Hi Richard! Love and charity - hmm.. nice words! heart wings

There are different kinds of love and different ways to give it. Charity is a great thing though some charity is only provided for other profit than for making people feel better. Like for instance certain religious groups only aiming to gain many members.

Maybe I will have more thoughts tomorrow. It's late in my place now. wave

RE: Is God real part 2

Cheavy, we have a saying in German: You can't throw all sorts of veggies into one and the same pot! help

RE: Is God real part 2

I found closer to God not only by thinking about this option, but also by reading philosophic books, e.g about how to cope with one's ego. hug

RE: Emotional Energy - Blog 3

I guess the rest I said here was rather trash..! confused laugh laugh

RE: God is real

Thondae, God is real as we can feel this deep in our souls and can be touched by God's love. It needs to take certain steps to get this sensitive feeling towards God. Some gain this through meditation others through prayers. It's a different experience. For this kind of experience there is no scientific logic yet. Maybe mankind will know more about supernatural facts in the far future.. daydream wave

Richard, I think that governments should provide opportunities so that every person can gain enough wealth. But next to enjoying wealth it's important for humans to live with good institutions like they exist in many democratic countries. Even more than wealth people state to value being in a good relationship and as you mentioned - enjoying health.

Btw - your trombone is nice! wine cheers laugh

RE: It Is All In The Mind.

Cat, so cruel!!! confused
Would rather spit on that spit roast! doh grin

RE: It Is All In The Mind.

@Hans, how do you know? You are scaring me ... uh oh help

RE: It Is All In The Mind.

Cat, I don't like pork and I would realize if it's pork by tasting it. However, it's interesting how this works: different nations, different customs. It must have been strange for you that a person expects you to lie to him so that he can get pleased, isn't it? dunno laugh

RE: Emotional Energy - Blog 3

Hi Richard! Wow, interesting pic! cheeringthumbs up

I think there should be a program, maybe by the Governments or maybe through other Organizations to work on the wellbeing of each person in a society. Maybe such efforts are already done. I could imagine this, as disability of people due to lack of happiness harms the society and causes financial losses in several fields.
I personally would regard it as a human right that a person is happy. But we are still far from getting to such a level of rights. It would need special programs, also steadily asking people what actually makes a person happy. For this reason the statistics ( for which I also sometimes work) which are mostly not popular and not valued by the majority can help a lot here to get the correct answers.
When I phone people in the Institute for Statistics most of them will immidiately reply annoyingly: “ I don’t need anything!” They automatically think that there is only a marketing background within our questionnaires. This lets me think of another point:  Does the economic growth in the rich countries make people any happier? We should be able to find out when a person is satisfied.
I guess, sharing emotional energy can only be done when we know what the other person needs in order to be willing to accept it.

RE: men emotions compare to women's....

Lost in our emotions..daydream sad flower

RE: Nothing

Thondae, nice nothing blog! laugh laugh

RE: Is simplicity the answer?

Hi Rezaraad,

I think that situations like war, extreme incidents happening in families or sicknesses in our bodies will give us a different overview over our thoughts, as they bring about challenging problems to solve. In general I like it when people go the middle path in their life, and go with compromises when making decisions.

Jac, you got it! cheering

RE: men emotions compare to women's....

I am very sorry for that! sad flower

RE: Emotional Energy - Blog 2

Richard, have a nice day! wave

RE: Love And Hate

Hi Cat!
Hate isn't something just happening. Love - maybe is.. confused love
but hate always has a cause. If someone hates his/her ex it means this person hasn't got over him/her. As you mentioned, not bothering anymore about the once hated person is the way most people choose for an ending up situation. If one can also think of some good attributes to add to that person one can freely say to have got over him/ her. wave

RE: Emotional Energy - Blog 2

Morning Richard! I slept well, thanks! Though still a bit groggy..hug

It came to my mind: bad thoughts and lack of knowledge. When negative thoughts can be vanished by books, this is also a way to gain new energy. I experienced this. cheering

RE: Emotional Energy - Blog 2

Hi Richard!
This is more demanding than listing the positve views! I would say that when I think about bad events that happened in my life this may lower my emotional energy, but only for a really short time. Maybe also when not having that success at work I had wished to have. But even then I would be more optimistic on the next day again. laugh
I can only think of being quite tired on some days due to lack of sleep. From tomorrow a busy week starts for me again. wave

RE: The Power Of Positive Thinking

Hi Cat! hug
In the past when I was quite down I started reading books how to lift up my selfesteem and how to always gain positive thoughts. And I must say - it works! Nice blog! wine

RE: to all regulars and non regulars dating....

@Catfoot, you made a point: wider selection on CS! how many people can you honestly meet in real life? and then they will also not always be telling you the truth about their lives. Maybe even worse than those having a profile here. dunno love

RE: to all regulars and non regulars dating....

It depends how quick chemistry works... cheering

RE: to all regulars and non regulars dating....

Hi Ian!
I like having communication here with friends. Before I came to CS I had once been on a speed dating in Vienna. This kind of dating is based on the idea of experts stating it would only need a few seconds that a couple would realize if they suit to each other or not. Several men sit in a row, and each woman moves from one to the other. Each has a sand glass on the table and the conversation starts and ends till the sand is down. Then one switches to the next. It was fun, but didn't work out. Those who had given their visiting card to me I didn't want to meet for a second time. doh laugh

RE: This touched my soul today...

Yes unlaoised, Bishop Desmond Tutu is still doing valuable work. He came to Austria last year, unfortunatlely I missed him. My mom has met with him often in South-Africa. I am born in Pretora, living in Austria since I was 8 years. hug wave

RE: why people post photos of actors on their profiles

Hi Olga! Yes, I saw Kevin Costner around here recently! Wanted to contact him, then hit my brow saying: " dimwitted me! " laugh rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Emotional Energy - Blog 1

Richard, the coffee I served you this morning was decaf! laugh

RE: Emotional Energy - Blog 1

I would also like to mention: energy never gets lost. It can only get transformed. Would be great if we could transform all our bad energy into good energy. This brings me to the next point: positive thoughts. those give us positive energy again leading to good actions in the end. Well, maybe too idealistic thpugh.. dunno daydream

RE: Emotional Energy - Blog 1

BTW, Richard, forgot t say: excellent blog really! (No purpose of boosting your ego in any way) wowlaugh

RE: Emotional Energy - Blog 1

Another point coming to my mind: relaxation, which is necessary to gain new energy..happy place violin
