How about those talking on their cell phones and not paying attention when crossing the street? Many have been hit by vehicles, as well as bikers. I believe they are considering enacting a law related to talking while crossing the street.
Thank you so much, Wallops. As a mother it pains me to hear/read these stories. This is the guy that the mom pleaded for his release via video last week.
My sorta kinda experience is with my car...the air conditioning kicks on without my touching it. Turn it off and it comes back on. It's like there's a gremlin in the system. I guess my air problems would mean...have it checked out. But If I was experiencing what you're experiencing, Nam...I know I would be scared. I'm such a chicken!!!
A MAN works and is not dependent on his partner for support. It irks me when male panhandlers asks ladies for money. Always begging from the same spot. He's gotta be rich by now! Reminds me of this lady panhandler...saw her at the bank making a deposition. smh
Mr. Fly...I think he really wanted a conversation over the telephone. I would not have minded, but he kept bringing up that "chemistry" word. We all know chemistry is vital in a relationship, but he rubbed it in so much, that he turned me off. I've met men that the chemistry didn't kick in until the second or third meeting. It's different with everyone, I guess.
I don't remember milk being delivered to our house, but I do remember the soda truck dropping off a crate full of sodas. Also, the man in a truck...he would sharpened kitchen knives on the block.
I am always conscious of the person behind my seat. I will recline my seat a little; and always ask the person behind me if I reclined too much? After all, there are many tall people. We should be considerate. Using the gadget seems extreme.
I am guilty of not answering many incoming e-mails. Ugh! But it's because those writing to me are too far away; they may be too young; and/or their profiles will have some inappropriate information. Let's not forget the typos and the way they express themselves.
Wallops...You'll enjoy it! Trust me. Two of my 3 children did and no complaints. Although, my second born is fussing about how silly it is. He'll do it too. When you meet your challenge, you'll need to post it on YouTube...that's how it works...and here, of course. :)
Good morning! I felt the ice cold water mainly on my back. You're supposed to feel a little shock. lol But it was so much fun. Seems like everybody reacted differently. Interested.
RE: Dining with your cell phone.
1to1to1...yeah..why would she be at fault? She didn't do anything wrong...your car just happen to be in her way. smh. Glad she was ok.
