Seriously speaking, I don't think we can completely leave our past behind. As long as one accepts, embraces and is at peace with it, a good relationship is possible for either genders.
If trying to hide or run away from the past it becomes a continuous daunting task of lying. Not going to work.
Some people think freedom of speech is only them get to do the speaking. They forget That the flipside of it is, we get to hear lots of stuff we don't want to hear.
Luckily in virtual spaces, we still have the control of our own fingers.
Diamond, I lived In Africa for fifteen years and it was heartbreaking when some children started to cry calling me Msungu when they saw me. Msungu means white people, some are still scared of white people.

Some who carried out the attack were trained in Syria. It's frustrating when the government had knowledge and never kept tabs. One was even arrested and later released.

Swamie, I am so sorry about the American citizens. One American lady who built a hospital for kids in the numbers. 11 year old kid. Nothing will compensate the deaths. That's the truth.
It's crazy down here. They are doing controled blasts on every suspicious abandoned vehicle. A bit hilarious the aftermath. Politicians and security forces. but I know it's not a laughing matter.
