Waiting for her to show some action and writing to you..this is wimpy. Its Internet, we are on a "Connecting" site! The worst case is you get a no. So what?
I do not agree that we had already visitors here. The truth would be they are far beyond any kind of technic we have or even thinking about. And if they would, why they do not contact us? Reasons could be they know we are just not ready for a communication because they are much wiser about knowledge, the races, our ways to communicate with each other, our way to kill each other, our intolerance, how we treat our nature and planet, and lots of other reasons.
So lets say there were visitors. From where could they come? It must be a planet or a solar system close to our solar system. Within range...but what we call within range? 5 LY? 20? 100? Any range would bring us to the point they found a way to make such journeys in an amount of time in the lifespan of a living creature. Even if they live 1000 years they could not reach us. The next question would be: What do they want? Just saying "Hi" or "We just taking a look if we can use your planet". Not very believable and also useless. Not to be forgotten we use ships with blinking lights and we kidnapp ppl fro your planet to keep stories going.
Just to make it clear to everyone. You need a sun like ours to have life on. Any other coloured sun like Red or Blue or White would cause immense radiation, Sunbursts that would kill everything or are just to hot, or all of it. And all of this sun`s are to far away and without use for life on. There aren't many sun's out there like ours, all of them has been detected and checked about radiation. And again..it would mean they could travel faster then light (this is not possible). And this will bring us again to the start. They don't see any reasons to contact us, because we might look to them we are in the stoneage of the stoneage of moving into space. We are not of any use for them. Its not logical.
i am pretty sure one day we will. The human mind will make it possible. We are just to curious about it. So, i guess the human kind will find a way one day...
To be enamoured and to love is two pair of shoes in my opinion. Love in the meaning of "real love" needs to grow and is a thing thats needs trust, knowing each other and is like a building you need to construct during the time.
When you are enamoured and you feel all the butterflies inside you..thats the first step.
