This might be out of topic here but I'm not afraid of death coz it's inevitable. Not a very pious or religious person here ( and had had committed a lot of sins and continuing committing them.. ) but I see death as another form of 'samsara'- repetitive cycle of birth and death.

As for people who's banking on other people's misery to make themselves happy, I guess there's nothing much you can do except to remove them from your life or simply ignore them?
