RE: "brutal" attack.......

Red, your wisdom. If I could bottle it we could make a fortune.

Jim, it I could bottle yours, we could sell it in churches.

RE: Asian girls

1. They are generally very humble. They don't like compliments, but actually they do. They just don't compliment themselves. (Generally)

2. They are critical of themselves. They want you to know they think they are not perfect.

3. They want a man that respects women. A bit old fashion, is what us westerners would call it.

RE: A New Muslim Renaissance is Here

Excuse me. Did anyone look at the history of all religions? Can we agree they are ALL based on a complete lack of any evidence. None would withstand our modern scientific evidence based belief systems we rely on for everyday life. Why would we hope for a new religion to be adopted. Oh good grief. Wake up people. Religion is a demon. How poetic.

RE: "brutal" attack.......

Teena, I am sure you have some deservingly harsh words for me, dispite my love for you. Please understand, my hate is equal for all gods, not just yours. My only faith lies with evolution. Please reconsider. I send you science book.

RE: "brutal" attack.......

Muslims suppress women's rights. Can you admit it? Or do you consider yourself less than a man?hmmm

RE: "brutal" attack.......

It's only an old Indian woman. She probably deserved it, in your part of the world. Or can you admit you might want to convert?

Did they ever let women drive over there without their man owner?

Funny, the US is all buddy buddy with Saudi Arabia but the US constantly complains about China's human rights problems. Now Obama has twisted China's arm into controlling carbon dioxide. I guess Obama doesn't know about the dangerous air in many of China's cities. What an idot they elected president!

RE: Quiz.......

Delicious fruit disappears fast in nature.

RE: Quiz.......

When I was a child, I would eat fruit in the wild, but I wouldn't touch that. Just my intuition.

I'll check back for the answer.

RE: Why ask why?

Johnny, have you thought about some targeted advertising? No not Google. Maybe focus on bingo halls, nursing homes and all the places old people congregate. Can you do a mass (physical) mailing to resident over 70? Exclude Ken of course. Do the old people who don't use internet produce the best deals on antiques?

RE: Some benifits of an afternoon nap

Thank you, phoenix.hug

RE: Why ask why?

Oh and the mileage deduction is either the allowed per mile rate (yes it is/was close to .50 a mile) or you can itemize your car expenses which would include the gas receipts but you can't take the standard allowed per mile car rate AND deduct your car expenses. Of course our tax system is based on the horror system so it is unlikely to get audited unless we have large amounts of gross income with very little net income, or some other red flags come up. Random audits are possible but not too likely anymore.

RE: Why ask why?

No free lunch, Johnnyscold

That would be a $10 deduction.
A $10 tax credit is different.

If you made $1000 and you need to pay 25% tax, you would owe the government $250 and keep $750. Now if you had a $10 deduction, you would pay tax on an income of $990 and owe $247.50 in tax (at the same 25%). If a person gets a $10 dollar tax credit, that is applied to the tax owed. With the $10 dollar credit you would owe $240.

Of course there are many other variables. We really need to simplify our tax system.

Tell the panhandler he owes you $7.50 the next time you see him. Blame it on the tax man.

RE: Addressing unhappiness ....

tatami, I saw an animal crossing my lawn in the night. It was so sick it was unable out walk me as I pursued in interest. After my flashlight exposed its heartbreaking story, I could do nothing but back away from it. The reality of death.

Now that I am immersed in Asian culture, I have a new found curiosity about the Japanese. I hear very interesting stories coming out of Japan. A well oiled machine.

RE: Why ask why?

HELL YES! Just date her until something better comes along. Why do you think they call it replacement therapy?

RE: Why ask why?

13 years is a long time. I do agree, the way to get over someone is eliminate and replace. I've had dark years dwelling on the past. It doesn't do anyone any good.

Was the waitress attractive to you? If not, she might have a friend!

RE: why

I would love to introduce myself, but just a short time ago I realized I had forgotten my namemoping

Nice to see a young friend even if I can't remember myself. Perhaps too many years have indeed passed. You've forgotten all the trouble relationships create.

Remember the sweet lady from Colorado. She was always a friend even when we didn't deserve her. There was the unique young man on an Island in NE Canada, and triple one in Florida. The awesome writer in Germany. Everyone's mentor or lover(after a brutal initiation) from the Middle East. A music lover from Canada. A body builder in Canada. Twenty more I know, besides some you mentioned. You've become a permanent part of all of us. wine

Enjoy your evening.
