Have to agree on the effectiveness of neighbourhood watches..had a tiny problem with people hanging around, one call and the guys showed up. We couldn't handle the problem, bit it was resolved in a flash. Actually glad it made a comeback..for a while it seemed to have died down, but now picking up popularity again in the neighbourhoods. It's a good thing..putting less pressure on our very busy, thinly spread, police force..and i am sort of giggling when i say that..plus i like the idea of communities pulling together..
