I used much more makeup when I was younger. I liked it and experimented with different colours and types of makeup. However, as I'm getting older, my skin gets more and more sensitive and prone to allergies. It gets very easily irritated now, so most of the time I avoid putting any make up at all - except a lip gloss. Big sunglasses and a lip gloss can go a long way. I do put makeup when I go to some event or go out, but I stick to the rule that less is better and I remove it as soon as I come back home. The way I look on the photo is my makeup maximum nowadays.
It's interesting, though, how I always perceive myself differently with and without makeup. I always think that I'm more beautiful with my makeup on, but it seems that people don't notice so much difference. So, I guess we are taught to believe that makeup makes us beautiful.
RE: Que sera, sera
Whenever I wanted to fly high, something hit me on the head and reminded me to stay low.The older I get - the less I believe in control and the more I believe in destiny.
At the moment, I'm trying to practise patience and acceptance. It's not easy...
